Brief
The Pedley Forge came to us wanting an identity for their growing business and to support a marketing strategy. With their work being incredibly skilled and hands-on they required a logo design that would reflect this.
Idea
The idea was to keep the look very traditional due to the nature of the work. After researching into the craft of forging, quite a decorative typographic design was decided upon. The logo was approved after only a few drafts.
Result
The result was a fitting logo that transferred well into both web and print. This was important for such a traditional trade, allowing it to sit confidently in a modern setting.
