Brief
Arup is a global, full-service building corporation. Their Manchester office was looking for a new way to increase people's awareness of their service portfolio. After consultation, a brief was agreed to introduce and design a digital signage format that would both attract attention and communicate to the staff and visitors in their reception area. The system also had to be easy to update, via their internal marketing department.
Idea
The idea was to create a simple and flexible layout, with the main content area being interchangeable containing various types of media. The staff would be able to tailor the display according to the various times of day and personalise content relevant to any potential customers present.
Result
The live digital signage system proved a success and was a welcomed addition to a newly refurbished reception area. The personalised content added a more human approach to visitors and helped portray a professional image – without the need to print costly traditional media. The reception staff were able to instantly update content with very little training.
