Brief
To celebrate World Environmental Day, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust wanted to demonstrate to staff, senior management and visitors what they were doing to reduce their carbon footprint. Working with a supplier who meters their energy usage, we were asked to create a presentation that would be seen on a large digital signage screen and be installed as a screen saver on all staff PCs.
Idea
Using the words and a logo the trust provided we developed a colour scheme and layout that represented an environmental theme. We used pencil and paper styling to suggest an earthy feel and consequently the viewer would acknowledge the environmental nature of the presentation.
Result
The presentation was well received by staff and visitors. Comments were made that people hadn’t realised the extent to which the trust were trying to help the environment.
