Brief
We were asked by producer and musician Wear to add to a growing online presence. The brief was to design a Flash website that would compliment one of his production projects, not just promote it. The website would contain original pieces of music and artwork becoming an integral part of the project alongside an album, graphics and video.
Idea
Interaction was key, allowing users to create their own audio/visual piece. The site would act somewhere between a musical instrument, a Flash game and elements of music production software, creating a pool of resources the user could call to the Flash stage.
Result
The website has given the project a new dimension of user experience, blending audio and visual that exploits the capabilities of an online interface - being also entertaining. Since going live, the website has grown a genuine interest and because of this we will be working with Wear to develop this idea with future projects.
