Maid 4 U is a premier housekeeping services company focused in Manchester city centre, offering an excellent service to a professional clientèle. To attract the right kind of business, they needed to truly reflect the quality that a no-fuss city centre client would expect.

Our initial goal was to simply help potential clients fall for Maid 4 U, enticing them to make an enquiry. With such a beautifully targeted business, there was a real need to quickly connect with the audience made up of professionals like surgeons, solicitors, doctors and footballers.

Although already ranking high on Google for ‘cleaning services manchester’, Maid 4 U wanted much more relevant enquiries. We were happy to help.

A Cleaner Image

First, we set out to create a new identity for Maid 4 U. The look was glued together with simple classic elements. To bring the new identity together, we felt Maid 4 U also needed a new succinct home, moving from maid4umanchester.com, to simply maid4u.co.

Redesigning the Website

Visual context for visitors was paramount. Lots of sites focus on ‘services’. We wanted to immerse Maid 4 U’s audience in an environment common to them, with relevant high-quality imagery to represent the lifestyle in which they live.

Keeping usability simple, along with prominent ‘call-to-action’ buttons, we ensured the easiest possible route for clients looking to get in touch. Also, time and effort was put into the site’s supportive detailing, like our maid character and bespoke map of Manchester city centre.

One tricky subject, with any bespoke service, is the matter of pricing. Although Maid 4 U are not in the game of price comparison, we felt visitors would want to know how their pricing works. We introduced a ‘pricing’ page which, aside from the home page, has actually been the most visited page on the site.

Bits and Pieces

Fresh content can often be rewarding for a website, and rightfully so. To take advantage of the relaunch, we felt Maid 4 U could use the site as a platform to engage more with potential clients. To make it as easy as possible to update, we devised a system based around small content ‘nuggets’. The result was aptly named ‘Bits & Pieces’ and really helped Maid 4 U come alive.

The Results

As with all our clients, we put in the hard work and strive to deliver and since Maid 4 U’s launch we have been very pleased with it’s success. In terms of audience engagement, especially with what could be seen as a mundane subject—‘cleaning’—people are actually spending time getting to know the brand.

In terms of the good stuff, pricing enquiries have trebled, are twice as relevant and have a much higher earning potential, leading to more valuable business for Maid 4 U in the long-term.
